Pandora Resort is a creative, immersive and relaxing environment created keeping in mind the general public and those individuals who enjoy Second Life Exploration. Not only is there public locations but there are also private rentals along the edges nestled within high cliffs along the quarry for those who would love to be part of this experience. There is a rich history accompanying this beautiful design and it is not one to remain as it is for a while. There is always updates, new details to be added and most of all lovely seasonal changes. Pandora Resort is a blend of reality and surreal feeling giving everyone that warm fuzzy feeling of home and yet keeping you on your toes for that overwhelming feeling you cannot describe.
History- Iron Falls
Iron Falls is a small town in the Iron county with population barely reaching 3 000 citizens. Its existence as well as growth was largely connected to the quarry and its miners that settled and populated the first original Iron Falls town.
The finding of gold and other minerals in 1889 in the mountains range was a boon for the Iron Falls growth, turning this unknown place into the miners center of the county. Railroads reached the area fast, providing their service in ore transportation and worker numbers that grew with each day. Electricity, sewers, sidewalks, telephones, cars, and all the amenities of modern life soon followed. By World War 1, the once bustling mining towns were no longer shipping out ore. The railroad stopped running and the tracks were torn out in the early 1930s, leaving the town cut from the remaining county.
With new demands on the market, and the resources available, Iron Falls turned itself from the mining town into lumber mill. Between the world wars Iron Falls was a lumber town; logging companies felled trees, sawmills created lumber and shingle mills created shingles. The Great Depression, however, took its toll. By 1935, the population of Iron Falls was half what it was in 1920s. Mills closed and people left to find work elsewhere. At the end of World War II, things looked bleak. The opening of Pandora Resort on the once known iron slopes of mountain range changed the perspective of the Town and county, brining again focus to the now forgotten town.
In the 21st Century, Iron Falls is focused on attracting more visitors to the stupendous beauty and recreational opportunities thanks to the Resort that now became permanent attraction to the explorers, adventurers and families seeking refuge from everyday life.
Town Square
The Town Square of Pandora Resort holds plenty of public spots that caters to a great time with family, friends or your other half. This part is also good for bloggers and photographers who have a scene in their head that they want to fulfill. The line of shops all lead to quiet corners filled with details like the Dog Park, the Lace Church, The Central Park, The Happy Cage and the Born&Bread Bakery. There are a lot of tiny details like ice cream carts, sitting areas and plenty more to discover. Details get updated as time flies for a fresh change. It also holds The Garden which is a surreal unique wedding reception venue that can leave anyone catching their breath.
Pandora Resort Lodge
The Lodge is located upon the first embankment towards the high mountains of Pandora Resort. It is the first sign of a place for visitors to relax after roaming around the town square areas. The Lodge would never remain the same as time passes, it changes along with seasons. There will always be a welcoming aura for every visitor who want to pause their travels and relax.
Within The Cliffs
Pandora Resort has an exterior scenery like no other. High quarry and mountains to feast any viewers eyes. There is plenty of photogenic spots and nice escapes for explorers.
Rental Cabins
Rental Cabins rest in hidden corner of the mountains. If you feel the need for a short vacation, a romantic get away or even just a small spot to call your home, this is for you. The rentals are as private as possible equipped with 10m radius security orbs to boot out unwanted lurkers. However, given that the Resort is public, 100% privacy cannot be guaranteed but the management will ensure all renters are comfortable.
Wedding Reception & Honeymoon
Pandora Resort offers wedding services that comes with a Reception and Honeymoon package. The Garden is the wedding reception venue with a surreal and unique aura that can hold at least 30 guests in its elegant table arrangements and sittings. The ceremony and celebration will take place in privacy of the sim apart from the current renters, managers and owners, the sim will be on lock down for the entire event. The newly weds will be gifted a 1 night stay at the exclusive honeymoon suite, already furnished with a secret backyard crystal spa escape. to give an immersive, romantic and memorable honeymoon. The honeymoon cabin is equipped with a security orb to ensure privacy.
